Food was pretty good. Tried the jerk tips and chicken. Both were great. Lots of stuff on the menu and will def be back. Longish wait for being the only one there, I'll just order ahead next time

Herk Soule' is a tad further than I would've liked to go for takeout... but it was so worth it! The portions a large, and the food is great. I particularly liked the jerk sauce that got more tang from its garlic than it's vinegar. But here's the clencher: the online order was ready when I got there, and the cashier showed me every order in it's box, before loading-up, ensuring the order was correct! We'll be back for sure!
I decided to check this place out for dinner since it's in my neighborhood. The owner is super nice, even gave me a complimentary piece of jerk chicken, it was delicious. I even saw a celebrity, Cortez Smith, Nuck from The Chi. He held the door for me, he's such a gentleman and easy on the eyes. lol. My food was delicious. Nice size portions. I ordered the jerk shrimp with macaroni and cheese and cabbage and a whole chicken mixed with a side of cabbage. My cabbage was a little over cooked to me, it was a little mushy, it didn't have the crunch I like my cabbage to have, my husband said it was good. The price is what got me, I spent a little over $60 for chicken and shrimp and a side of cabbage. We both felt that was expensive. Overall, I highly recommend the place for the delicious food, friendly staff and fast service. Thank you
The Mac and cheese was a tad bit dry. Other than that. Everything was flavorful! Everything tasted fresh. I can literally eat a full cup of cabbage alone. The jerk sauce was spicy. I ordered 1/2 white came with 2 sides I chose cabbage and Mac- small order of sweet potatoes - Ginger koolaid- 2 extra jerk sauces. This came to $41.71. I don't think I've ever hit the $40 mark for jerk food. But the portion size is large. So I look at it as 2-3 servings. (If you like left overs. ) Place was clean. Service was professional . Quality check done on your food before you leave. They have byob events like comedy sometimes and an outside patio. Seems like it could be good vibe for the neighborhood. Kedzie can be a busy street sometimes. Hope this set Standard stays consistent and safe as they continue to grow in the community
Excellent Jerk Chicken and yams also great red beans and rice and outstanding cabbage, fast, friendly service, and reasonably priced if you like Jerk Chicken , this place is a must try

The food is so authentic and delicious - jerk chicken was so tender and jerk sauce just right, rice and beans with good amount of gravy (not dry at all unlike many places), greens, cabbage, and yams were on point too! The owner Cedric and staff are so welcoming and friendly. I will definitely come here and and recommend to family and friends.
